      Accessing the Dashboard using an identity provider (IdP)

      Smallstep Admins are able to authenticate without a named account using a variety of identity providers.

      Some Smallstep hosted plans allow you to connect your Administrator logins to your Identity Provider (IDP) so that usernames/passwords are not used.
      • How do I know if I have single sign-on enabled?
        • Go to your Dashboard login screen, and use the team name you choose during sign-up (https://smallstep.com/app/[your_sign-up_team_account_name]/login).
      • If you forgot your team account name, you can receive an email reminder of any Smallstep accounts you've registered before.
